"Oh, say can you see..." These mountains were inspired by a series of heavily textured oil paintings that captivated me — I wanted to capture the dramatic knife-edge detail and movement of the paint strokes in precious metal, creating a mountain landscape rich with texture and depth.

As I worked on the design, the moss agate gemstone nestled at the base of the mountains began to feel symbolic of an avalanche flowing through the landscape, giving this ring its name.
